Thank you for booking your bridal gown shopping experience at Gilded Social! We're thrilled you've thought of us to outfit your big day.
Here are a few bits & tips before you arrive. If you have any questions or need more information, don't hesitate to call, email, or text us. We're excited, are you excited?

We're located next to Elms Pizza at 127 East Elm Street, Granville, Ohio, between Main & Prospect Streets, just one block from the main drag {Broadway} through downtown Granville.
PLEASE BE RIGHT ON TIME
If you're a bit early, please enjoy this wonderful town and hang tight until your appointment time. Since our parking is stacked {more details below}, we don’t want you to block anyone in who may still be shopping.
We've reserved 2.5 hours JUST for you, so please call or text us at (614) 271-8257 if you are running late. Due to the nature of our schedule, appointments that arrive more than 15 minutes after their designated start time may be asked to reschedule. We want to be sure you get the full experience!
PARK IN THE DRIVEWAY WHEN YOU ARRIVE
We have driveway parking available for one to two cars per appointment ONLY. We encourage you to all come together to make parking a cinch! Otherwise, please park on the East side of the bank parking lot across the street or a public space on an adjacent street.
A NOTE ON ACCESSIBILITY
Our shop is accessible by stairs only. This historic property was built before ramps and elevators! If that is an issue for you or your guests, please let us know ahead of time.

If you would like to upgrade your appointment, let us know at least 3 days in advance, so you and your guests can really celebrate saying YESSS!
MEET CHEWY
Our sweet little, hypoallergenic, Shihtzu pup, Chewy, is often with us at the shop. He mostly just likes to say hi, get a treat, and then nap for the rest of your appointment! If that would ever be an issue for you or your guests, don’t hesitate for a minute to let us know.

We are a full service wedding fashion team who will help you both style your look AND make sure it's ready to wear exactly as intended on Wedding Day. Saying YESSS truly is just the beginning. From alterations to preservation - we will be with you every step of the way. You'll never have to manage your wedding fashion all on your own!
We can prep your gown for traveling to a destination wedding. We can set up your gown on a mannequin for the most beautiful of dress shots. We can even be onsite to snag all that juicy BTS content of wedding days that make them so memorable. We know that you may not have done this before. Don't worry. We'll guide you from start to finish.

Just like you'll notice during the time between booking and your appointment, having direct access to our owner, Tanya, makes ours the most personal bridal experience in the business. And not just pre-appointment, you'll always have direct access to Tanya at any time to get answers or feedback on your burning wedding fashion questions throughout the process. Communication with our Brides is our immediate and top priority.

SHE’S MAKIN’ A LIST
So we can best prepare for your visit, we want all the intel you can send us ahead of time. No matter if it's a Pinterest board, screenshots from Instagram, or even photos of dresses you've tried on already, we want to see it ALL!
Better yet, create an account and make a wishlist here on our website, and we'll have those dresses pre-pulled for you, too! The bottom line is, the more inspo you send us, the better we can do our homework and the greater chance you'll have of saying YESSS!
To create a wishlist, click the heart next to any dress from our collection pages and you will automatically be asked to create an account. Create an account, keep clicking on those hearts, and we'll be able to see your picks in real time. So so easy to get us that intel!
CAN I BORROW THAT?
Is there a style you want to try on from one of our designers that isn't in our online catalog? No worries! We may be able to request a sample loan for your appointment AND we can always order ANY style from these collections for you! Be sure to let us know if there's something you're dying to see from one of our designers and we'll get right to work with our designers to bring that in for you.
Loaner gowns are part of our Gimme All the YESSS experience, so you'll get all kinds of extra goodies for your appointment, too!
FIND YOUR WHITE
If you really want to take your wedding dress shopping preparation next level, reach out to my dear friend Megan at House of Colour so together you can find out what's your perfect shade of white! Tell her I sent you for an extra special something during your appointment.
VIPS ONLY PLEASE
Due to the intimate nature of our space, please limit your party to only you + four VIPs. We also encourage VIPs under age 8 to visit during a Reveal Appointment instead of your shopping appointment. But we know that styling can be a group effort, so if this is a deal breaker, make sure to bring this up during our pre-booking call.
THE BIG REVEAL
That said, we offer Reveal Appointments for guests who were not able to be present during the actual shopping appointment. If you’d like to schedule a Reveal Appointment for other VIPs who could not join, let us know when you purchase, and we will give you more details and get you on the calendar!
WHAT TO WEAR
We require panties during fittings, so we suggest wearing them to your appointment to make getting into that first gown a cinch. We recommend leaving shapewear at home - it's easier to try on without it! But if you need it to feel confident, bring it (don't wear it, because you still need something underneath), and we will assess which dresses need it and don't in the moment.
Tighter fitting clothing can also make it easier to take measurements once you say YESSS! For example, if you're wearing a sweater, wear a tank top underneath.
Granville is the perfect place to shop for a wedding dress. It's literally like stepping into a Hallmark movie. Visit some of our cutest shops and restaurants to make the whole town part of your shopping experience. It’s just one reason we love it here!

OUR PRICE RANGES
Our special order bridal gowns range from $2,500 - $8,000 and the majority are priced from $2,700 to $4,700. Accessories start at $250. Prices do not include taxes, fees, or the cost of alterations.
If your budget is $2,500 or under, preview our Sample Sale collection ahead of your appointment. These may be your lucky finds! Gowns in this collection sell off-the-rack and start at $499. We also sell a selection of our special order samples off the rack at a discount.
ABOUT SHOPPING WITH SAMPLES
Sample shopping means that we have only one dress in each style we carry, so the fit will almost never be what it would be like in the dress we special order just for YOU. But, we will help you envision how it will look during your try on.
BE READY TO GET CREATIVE
MANY of our gowns can be customized by the designer to make it just right for your vision! Don’t be afraid to ask if one little tweak could make the gown exactly right.
PLAN AHEAD FOR AN EASY WAY TO SAVE
Due to rising merchant fees, we charge an additional 3.75% transaction fee for all payments made using a card. However, there is NO additional fee for friend-to-friend Venmo or cash payments! Believe us, we hate this as much as you do.

Please confirm your appointment via our automated text system! Unconfirmed appointments are subject to cancellation without notice or refund.
OUR NO EXCEPTIONS CANCELLATION POLICY
Our NO EXCEPTIONS cancellation policy requires that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice. If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment time, you will be charged a $150 non-refundable fee for Monday to Friday appointments, $250 for Saturday and Sunday appointments. If you arrive at your appointment and have clearly already found your dress elsewhere, you will be charged the cancellation fee.
We get it, life happens OR sometimes you find the ONE right before you get to us! So if something does come up last minute, please let us know. If you do not show without notice, you will be charged an additional $100 non-refundable no show fee.
We accept cancellations via our automated text system or written communication (email or text) from the bride or the person who booked the appointment. Appointments not canceled via these methods are subject to our cancellation and no show fees. We do not accept cancellations via phone call, voice mail, social media, or third parties.
