The Story

Kathryn was the VERY FIRST #gildedbride to walk through our Elm Street doors.

 

She found a few dresses on our website that she absolutely LOVED and just had to get a sneak peak of them before her mother came into town for her ACTUAL appointment a few weeks later.


Being the superstitious gal that I am, this was a huge relief. We could test our new space without the pressure of having to make a sale during our very first Elm Street appointment. I certainly didn’t want to lose our first Elm Street bride. So a planned follow up was perfect!

 

Sure enough, she came back, said YES, and earned herself a permanent spot on the gilded WOF - for she is who found our YES corner!

 

Though our Miss Birdy mural was meant for IG fame, I hadn’t intended that corner spot to be as famous as it is now. Thanks to Kathryn’s discerning eye, our #gildedbrides have the perfect backdrop to celebrate their second best YES!

“I had the best experience with Tanya at Gilded Social, I could not have wanted this experience of picking my dream dress to be any different. I was her first client in her new location in Granville, and wow, it is so cute and has so much character! From Tanya calling before the appointment to talk styles and shapes, talking me through every thought during the appointment (I was very indecisive with this process as I had never really had a vision of my dream dress), and narrowing down styles to show my mom when she was in town. Came back with my mom and found the dress!”
